Doris Beard Obituary
Jackson
Doris C. (Hoppes) Beard, age 90, of Jackson, passed away July 16, 2014 at Bethany Hospice in Jackson.
Preceded in death by husband Robert C. Beard, daughter, Diana Lee (Leonard) Hill, five brothers, four sisters and her parents. She is survived by one sister, Marlene Tanner, son Robert Beard, grandchildren, Carrie, Christopher and Casey and her granddaughter and caregiver Lisa Lyn Leonard.
She was born in Portland, Michigan.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Portland, MI Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 11 am followed by a graveside service at Portland Cemetery. Contributions in her memory are directed to St. Patrick's Church, 140 Church St. Portland, MI 48875 or Bethany Hospice, 1000 E. Porter, Jackson, MI 49202.
