E. Pease Obituary

E. Ilene Pease Mason, MI Born December 24, 1912 in Olive Township, Clinton County, Michigan to Hazel (Merrihew) and Thomas W. Bishop. She lived most of her life in the Lansing and Okemos area. She was a life member of the Okemos Chapter OES #267 and a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Ilene was preceded in death by her son, Dale (1949), 1st husband, Tom Torrance (1951) and 2nd husband, Walter Pease (2000). Surviving are her son, Donald (Rosemary) Torrance; in October of 1953 she married Walter Pease giving her two stepsons, Gary (Sarah) and Tom (Judy) Pease; two grandsons, Tom and Tony Torrance; seven stepgrandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, 10:00 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Okemos at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the chapel Monday 1 hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Cross Roads United Methodist Church, 5491 Zimmer Road, Williamston, MI 48895 in memory of Mrs. Pease.
