Gary will always embody the spirit of the MSU Pathology Family that so many of us consider our roots. We enjoyed the pleasure of his company, the depth of his passion for Pathology, the kindness of his spirit, and the generous heart he offered through friendship and mentorship. Gary will be deeply missed.

I send my condolences as a former, fellow graduate student(I think Gary was a Resident) in Pathology at MSU. Gary "Pops" was a "Class Act" in every sense of the word. May the God of all comfort, comfort the Watson family during this time of great loss.
