Constance Conder

Constance J. Conder of Northville and Leland, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026. She was born in Detroit, MI on July 14, 1935, to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Freel) Smith. Beloved wife of the late John Conder (2022) and loving mother to J. Daniel (Josie) Conder, Tim (Sheri) Conder and Andrea (Keith) Bridges. Loving grandmother to Kimberly Bridges, Rebecca Bridges, Jacquelyn (Bridges) Erwel, Thomas Bridges, Joseph Conder, Michael Conder, and Kevin Conder. Great grandmother to Love Bridges and Francesca Erwel. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Veronica (Smith) Abraham and granddaughter Claire Elizabeth Conder.

Connie was a proud alumna of Mercy High School, as well as Michigan State University where she graduated with a degree in Journalism. Connie enjoyed cooking, playing bridge, cross-stitch, traveling and socializing with friends and family. She was also an avid reader and volunteer at the Leland Public Library. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Dr, Northville, MI, with visitation at 10:30am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Father Solanus Guild or to the Alzheimer's Association
