Glenn M. Svendsen

Glenn Svendsen was born on September 28, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Marius and Anna Svendsen, and passed away on December 28, 2015 at the age of 80.  Glenn was a graduate of Bath High School and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University.  After many years of hard work and dedication as an Engineer, he retired from General Motors. 

Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Joyce; children, Blair (Donna) Svendsen, Jill (Michael) Olney, and Vaughn (Elizabeth) Svendsen; grandchildren, Grant Svendsen, April Svendsen and Jacob Olney.

Per Glenn's request, no services will be held. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Glenn's memory to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan PO Box 30480, Lansing, MI 48909. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.greastlansing.com

To the Svendsen family: Our prayers...Glenn was a fixture at all school events that his children participated in..always willing to help and so very
positive in his own unique way..it was an honor to teach and coach his children...children are always a reflection of their parents..rip Glenn and God
