Formerly of Williamston, Michigan. Harry Patrick Bourke, born January 16, 1933 passed away peacefully on April 6, 2016 at the age of 83. He graduated in 1951 from Escanaba High School where he enjoyed spending summers as a lifeguard.  He served in the Navy from 1952-1956 and the reserves until 1960. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Williamston Fire Department, owner operator of Bourke Electric and later retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation Signal Shop in 1995. He was a member of MILOWS, The American Legion and many others. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida and spending time with family and friends in Michigan during the rest of the year. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was able to do so until recently. Harry loved to tell jokes and everywhere he went he seemed to run into someone he knew.  Harry is survived by his four children, Debbie (Keith) Colister, Donna (Rocky) Bushard, Harry Bourke, and Denise (Chris) Ringle; his brother, Tom (Jane) Bourke, and sister Sally (Robert) Manzagol; 11 grandchildren, Patrick, Jeremy, Keith, Jenna, Ryan, Rockelle, Katy, Kari, Nichole, Rebecca, Christopher and 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, sister-in-law and a nephew.  Per his wishes in lieu of a funeral a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
