Jackolyn N. (Brake) Chase

East Lansing

Born June 21, 1925, of East Lansing, beloved wife and mother, died peacefully April 14, 2014 at Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence.

She is survived by her husband of over 70 years, Jack Chase; daughters: Carol Brownell, East Lansing; Kay Ramroth (Carl), Ludington, and Nancy Kuklock (Kevin), Minnetonka MN; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Jackie was originally from Ionia, Michigan and also enjoyed living many years in retirement with her husband in Howey-in-The-Hills, Florida.

The family would like to thank all her compassionate caregivers at Independence Village, East Lansing and the Hospice of Lansing.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 18, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 17, 4-6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Lansing, Stoneleigh Residence, 4052 Legacy Parkway, Ste. 200 Lansing, MI 48911.
