DeLand, FL - August 3, 1953-November 15, 2018

Joe passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 with his wife and daughter right by his side in DeLand FL where he and Kimmie reside. Joe was born in Eaton Rapids MI to the late Melvin Dean Croyle & Lula (Mixon) Croyle.

On February 17, 1984 Joe married Kimmie. She survives him along with his daughter, Nicole (Jose) Gonzalez and his beloved family dogs Tucker & Elsa. Joe's siblings that survive him are Robert (Betty) Mixon, Llyod Mixon, Martha Johnson, David (Gay) Mixon. Preceding him in death are his brother John D. Mixon (JD) & sister Wanda (Bee) Tobin.

Joe had many life long friends that he loved dearly some passed on before him and many are left missing him dearly. Joe proudly & honorably served his country in the United States Army as an Expert Sharp Shooter. Joe retired from General Motors (GM) after 35 yrs where he worked in Skilled Trade in Lansing MI. Joe had a great love for hunting and fishing, he enjoyed doing this together with many family and friends over the years making great memories together.

A Memorial Service will be held in Lansing, MI to celebrate his life with friends and family on May 4, 2019 (Sat.) at South Lansing Christian Church 6300 N. Aurelius Rd. Lansing, MI 48911.
