Katy Ledesma Obituary

Katy Ann Ledesma Lansing Our gentle Katy was called home to be with her Lord Jesus at age 40 on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. She was a spark of joy with a happy sweet smile. Even while she battled with MS for many years, Katy was not a complainer. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Linda. She leaves behind her special friend and partner, Al Billups; father and stepmother, Gilbert and Becky Ledesma; daughters, Rosalinda (Jose) Garcia III and Melinda (Sean) Herbert; grandchildren, Jose Garcia IV, Anissa, Karissa, Iziah, Ilias; sister, Cindy (Dale) Singletary; niece, Selina Kelly; brothers, Gilbert (Suzie) Ledesma, Jr. and Ezekiel (Kathy) Ledesma; grandparents, Eugene Rodriguez, Dora Rodriguez, Juanita Ledesma; stepbrothers and stepsisters; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13, 10:00 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing with Pastor Brian Robinson of Cornerstone Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the chapel Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the Family in memory of Katy.
