Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more that a thought apart. For as long there is a memory, they'll live on in our hearts.
I know that Bud will live within all of us because at some time or another in his journey of life, he touched our hearts. I will always remember him as a kind man who loved unconditionally. A man who worked hard for his family and never wanted to disappoint. A man who's laughter was contagious with a smile that was genuine.
Growing up, I looked up to him as a father. He and Dora opened up their home to me and treated me like their child. I was lucky to be best friends with Sonya and have the opportunity to be part of the Fifield family. I will cherish every memory and take none of it for granted.
To my Fifield family, I am thinking of you all and wishing peace and comfort to you in the days to come as we know that heaven has a new angel and in heaven cancer, pain and illness does not exist.
