Just found your guest book Ducky....You are well now with no pain or problems. We will meet in heaven in time to come...Jodi is sad without you and Julie too. I know they will carry your memory in their hearts. I heard of all your accomplishments and wish I had know you. You gave a lot to your fellow man. Not many do. So now you can rest in the Lords Peace.....My sympathy to those you left so suddenly. Dy Bennett, Arvada, Colorado

Hey Duckster,
Today you are on my mind more then usual, but then that's really not news. I think about you all the time and I;m missing you more then usual today. Today was the day we were supposed to pick you up and bring you home for the holidays. It's snowing which you always loved so much and as much as I hated to be out in the snow in a car I would give anything to be in one today to pick you up. They say time heals all wounds, but everywhere we look there's always something to remind us of you. You gave us alot of good memories and we try to hold on to them as we struggle to get through this loss of someone so special in our lives. I received a package in the mail the other day and it was your Michigan coat I ordered for you for Christmas. This wasn't supposed to happen. We received a phone call from the kennel that the puppy we got you will be ready to be picked up the day before Christmas. We're gonna get her and you can look down from heaven with your smile and see her. The holidays are the hardest I guess, but losing you was hard. You, me and Jules had so many things planned for Christmas. I just wanted to let you know that your still in my thoughts every day and always in my heart, and that we will always love you. Jules misses your Saturday morning coffee time. I miss our couple hours of carrying on we did everyday. So tomorrow put your arms around us as we'll be thinking about you and help us get through the next couple weeks. Just wanted you to know we both love you very much and we miss you.

Lynn you were one that started to teach me sign language many years ago when I started losing my vision, you were one of the most patient teachers I knew. You will be missed but not forgotten.

She was so much more than a teacher.
Lynn, was a true shining star. She taught with a contagious love for her community and language. It was impossible to enter her class room and leave it unchanged.
I'm forever thankful for the classes of her that I was blessed to be in.

I met you many years ago at one of the workshops in Lansing during the '90s. I didn't get to know you much until we reconnected on 2003. We formed a ladies' monthly gathering. Then connection got lost as we moved on with other things in life. Rest in peace.

Lynn- you are the most amazing woman in Michigan, you had made a difference among deaf community with all the tireless energy in MDA and other organization. You help built the bridge between deaf and hearing world, fought discrimination! Many thanks to you for your profound influence. I've learn so much from you. You had been good mentor to me during my younger years in Lansing Community College. So thanks for all you have done.

Ducky,
I want you to know that I miss you and I Love You. I know your out of pain which gives me some comfort, but I miss you so much. This is like no other pain that I've felt before at times I feel like someone punched me in the stomach. I look for you in your chair and it's empty and I think you'll be home soon and then reality hits. I am so glad that I got to know you and have you in my life for the last 5 years. I miss your smile everyday and I know this is all fresh yet, but there will always be a void that no one can fill so your memories will have to take up the space that you left behind. I know how much pain you were in and I am so proud of how you fought the fight of your life. You my dear friend will remain in my thoughts, prayers, and my heart until the day we are together again. Knowing I have you as a guardian angel makes me feel safer and I am so very proud to call you one of my hero's. I just wanted you to know you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. I LOVE YOU
