Age 76, passed away peacefully at her home, Friday, June 5, 2015, surrounded by her family.  Marilyn was born February 7, 1939 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of Theodore and Evelyn (Wood) Ykimoff.  Marilyn resided in Jackson, MI prior becoming a Lansing area resident for 40 years. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.  She enjoyed tending her birds, trips to Vegas, casino bingo and her beloved cat, Prince.  Above all Marilyn was a wonderful caregiver to her family in their time of need.  If you needed a person to listen to she was always there for you. A loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene Force in 2008, and brother, James Ykimoff in 2009.  Marilyn is survived by her sister, Helen Mircheff; son, Don (Tammie) Hunt; special niece, Kristen Cassidy; step children, Lyn O'Connor and Dan Force; grandchildren, Alex, Anna and Ellie Hunt.  Also surviving are numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, June 10, 2015, 1:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel with Pastor Tom Askins officiating.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends, Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  Memorial contributions can be made to the National Audubon Society in memory of Marilyn at www.audubon.org .  Condolences can be sent to the family at www.palmerbush.com.
