Nicholas Foster Memoriam

Nicholas Alan Foster passed away on St. Patty's Day 2017. He passed away due to the heart attack. Nic was born on Nov 6th, 1987 in Lansing, Michigan to Cindy Jane Foster and Clarence Bud Schultz. He graduated from Lansing Everett High School in 2006 with a Varsity Letter in Choir and a Medal in Drama. He graduated from Washtenaw Community College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts in 2016 and MACRAO Certificate. At the time of his death he was attending Eastern Michigan University and on April 25th, 2017 they graduated him posthumously with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Political Science and Sociology. He loved musicals like Rent, Wicked, Kinky Boots and others. He is survived by his partner Elijah Jacob Shalis and his brothers, sisters, father, and foster parents. Nic and Elijah had a commitment ceremony during the Lansing 2005 Pride March and Rally on the steps of the Capitol Building. Nic accepted everybody for who they were and gave them a chance to be who they were authentically. Love, Elijah
