Phyllis Louise Wollangur

Phyllis Louise (Gibson) Wollangur Mt. Pleasant Age 76, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant. Phyllis was born on Monday, October 10, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant to Tony and Virginia Wollangur (Lovell), but lived most of her life in the Lansing area. She was schooled in dentistry, but her love of people led her to hospitality for close to thirty years. When she returned to the medical field, it was again, her heart that brought her to live-in care giving for the elderly. Phyllis leaves behind her siblings, Rosemary Reid and Larry Lovell; daughter Regina Gibson Wagner; son-in-law, Jerry Wagner; granddaughter; Michelle Gibson; many loving nieces; nephews; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; friends; and her greatly cherished Yorkshire terriers, Rascal and Scamp. All who shared time with Phyllis are eternally thankful and will remember her lovingly. Cremation has been provided courtesy of Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. There will be a memorial service for family and friends at a later date. Donations may be made in her name to Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant.
