Dear Anne and family,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father, especially so soon after your mother's departure. What wonderful parents you had -- it must have been a magical childhood, and certainly shows in the kind, talented, and generous people you became. May God hold you gently in the palm of his hand as you make your final goodbyes.
