Robert Conrad Obituary

Robert "Bob" E. Conrad Lansing Age 83, died March 21, 2010; born July 27, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan. Bob was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps. He retired in 1980 from Fisher Body with 35 years of service. He was a life member of the Capital of S.O. Lodge # 66 F & AM and a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Car Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Verne Conrad. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Venessa (Marshall); 3 daughters, Cris Conrad of Lansing, Connie (Steve) Rulison of Lansing and Patti (Terry) Powers of Holt; 5 grandchildren, Tina (Jay) Crumley, Sally and Sherri Powers, Robert and Caroline Rulison; 2 great-grandsons, Elliott and Fisher Crumley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 24, at Noon at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the CHF Department at Ingham Regional Medical Center, 401 W. Greenlawn, Lansing, MI 48910 in memory of Mr. Conrad. On line condolences may be made to www.gorslineruncimandewitt.com.

I was so shocked to happen on the LSJ obituaries today and see that we lost Bob. I am so,so sorry but hope that you have the peace of mind that he will be at rest .AND back to his old Vim and Vigor.. chasing around heaven saying hello to all of his old friends( maybe my mom and dad) and family. Maybe instead of those mansions they keep promising.us .... they actually have a corvette waiting for all of us .. Could be.! Love and peace to the whole family Gene and Ricci Eschtruth
