Roger Trombley Obituary

Roger Arnold Trombley Eaton Rapids Age 62 of Eaton Rapids died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Dimondale Nursing Care Facility. Born September 29, 1947 in Souix Ste. Marie, one of nine children born to Arnold Edward and Olive (Wingling) Trombley. Roger served in the Navy during the Viet Nam War from 1965 to 1969. He retired in July of 2002 as Shift Supervisor in Computer Operations with Family Independent Agency for the State of Michigan. Preceding him in death were his parents, and brother and sister, Brian and Nancy Trombley. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Sharon; 3 children, Melinda (Dan) Millward of Jackson, Arnold (Tiya) Trombley of Eaton Rapids and Roger (Shimul Bhuva) Trombley of Ann Arbor; one grandchild, Dillon Bhuva-Trombley; 4 brothers, Paul Trombley, Arnold (Cheryl) Trombley, Mark Trombley and Tom (Christine) Trombley; sisters, Margarite (Leonard) Miller and Mary Trombley; sister-in-law, Barb Trombley and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with the Rev. Mark Payne of the Robbins United Methodist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Alzheimer's Memory Walk of the Dimondale Center or AA Alano Club of Lansing. To leave online condolences go to www.skinnerfuneralhome.com.

I didn't specifically remember the date of Roger's passing but recently had memories of him from years past. It may have been prompted by my walking by the house he and Sharon used to live in in Charlotte. I do remember and miss him. Gone way too soon.

Very saddened to hear of Roger's passing. Close friend in school, best man at his wedding with Sharon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Sharon, and the rest of the extended Trombley family.
