Ron Hagaman Family: I just recently learned that Ron had passed away via a friend at MSU. For many years, I managed the Plant Pathology Research Orchards along College Road at MSU, and Ron was one of the Volunteer 'Gleaners' for the Greater Lansing Food Bank who harvested surplus fruit to donate to needy people. Ron was a very generous person who made contributions to our Department at MSU which supported our research effort. Ron frequently harvested fruit in near proximity to me in the orchards and shared his love of MSU and Caterpillar Corporation from which he retired. Ron was an upbeat and friendly guy who got along with all the volunteers and was appreciated by all of the friends which he so easily made. His passing is a huge loss to the East Lansing Community! We send out our sincere sympathies and condolences to his extended family in this time of great loss.
