Scot Roger Howell, Delta Twp., MI, passed away suddenly at the age of 47.  Scot was born December 1, 1968 in Port Huron, Michigan the son of Roger and Dixie (Hill) Howell.  A graduate of Grand Ledge High School in 1987, Scot went on to receive his Bachelor Degree from Eastern Michigan.  He was an Eagle Scout, car enthusiast, handyman and a help to all who needed it.  Scot was currently working at the City of East Lansing wastewater plant as a maintenance supervisor.  He previously worked at Southern Clinton County Municipal Authority.   A loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, neighbor, coworker and friend will be dearly missed.  He was thoughtful, humble, kind, funny and a great storyteller.  He was adored by his nieces and nephews.  Scot would do anything for anyone and all he might have ever asked was for a place to store a car.

 Scot was preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Lee Howell in 2012.  He is survived by his father, Roger; siblings Leslie (Ernest) Delemeester of Saint Charles, MI, Kimberly (Joel) Murray of Bristol, WI and Christopher "CJ" Howell  of Kenosha, WI; grandmother, Myra Hill of Stitzer, WI; beloved nieces and nephews, August, Mitch, Garrett & Natalie Delemeester, Connor & Elaina Murray and Preston & Amelia Howell.  Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016, 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 3827 Delta River Dr., Lansing, MI 48906, with Pastor Lori Sykes officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 12:00 - 4:00 PM & 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel.  Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Boy Scouts of America or Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing.  Condolences can be sent to the family at www.palmerbush.com.
