Tafeeda B. "Aunt Taffy" Nakfoor

Tafeeda B. "Aunt Taffy" Nakfoor Lansing Born Sept. 11, 1912 in Owosso, MI the daughter of Sied and Martha (Najjar) Bofysil, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at age 99. She was a former member of St. Mary Cathedral and helped to establish the St. Joseph Melkite Church of which she was proud to be a charter member. She will lovingly be remembered to everyone as "Aunt Taffy". She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike, in 1967 and her 5 siblings: Sam, George, James, Eddy and Mary Bofysil. Surviving are her nieces and nephews: Gary (Colleen) Bofysil, Robert Bofysil, Thomas Bofysil, Nora Bofysil, Sandra (Dan) Smith and Michael N. Bofysil, sister-in-law Fran Bofysil and many other loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at ll:00 a.m. at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel. Rite of committal will follow in Deepdale Memorial Park. Visitation is Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home where the Trisagion Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Right Away Home Staffing, Inc. for taking such good care of Taffy.
