William Krawczyk

William Krawczyk Lansing Age 86, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 5, 2011. William was born in Charlotte, MI on May 27, 1925, the son of Adam and Mary (Kagan) Krawczyk. He served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII. William worked for the Detroit Board of Education for 15 years and retired from Wyeth Laboratory of Mason after 21 years of service. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Florence; 4 children, Deborah (Terry) Paquet, Bill, Jr. (Linda) Krawczyk, Charlene (Steve) Watters and Ray, Sr. (Marge) Krawczyk; 9 grandchildren, Niki, Ian, Heather, Angie, Ray, Jr., Andy, Adam, Christopher and James; 5 great grandchildren, McKenna, Kiera, Harper, Parker and Adrian; 2 brothers, Stanley (Barb) and Adam; 2 sisters, Sophia Bradley and Mary (Rhon) Pierce and many loving nieces & nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Fred Thelen as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, with military honors provided by VFW Post #701. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel and Friday from 9:00 am until service time at the Church. A Vigil Service will be prayed Thursday at 3:30PM at the funeral home. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the Cristo Rey Building Fund in memory of William Krawczyk.
