Zack McIntyre

Zack McIntyre "Uncle Buddy" Lansing Age 89, was born September 20, 1919 in Gainesville, AL to Ophelia Lee and Zack McIntyre and our beloved Uncle Buddy passed away peacefully, while sleeping at his home, with the full assurance of love, care, and constant presence of a family, who loved him dearly. He attended school in Hattiesburg, MS until he enlisted in the U. S. Army and served our country during World War II. He received an honorable discharge. Survivors include: his sisters, Mittie Keys and Senia Wheeler; sister-in-law, Marie McIntyre; brother-in-law, Rev. Wendell Richardson; special nieces, nephews, and caregivers, Cynthia Morrell, Jackie McIntyre, Phyllis Keys, Deborah Keys, Karen (Cliff) Turner, Marjorie Powell, Frank (JoAnn) McIntyre, Michael Morrell and Andrew "Jerry" (Sharyn) McIntyre; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; many friends and neighbors. Friends may visit Mr. McIntyre Thursday, November 20, 3 - 6 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, 11:00 am, at Galilee Baptist Church, 2511 Reo Rd. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral.
