Andrea L. Pesina Andrea L. Pesina, 90, of Hereford, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, in Hereford, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. at La Iglesia de San Jose with Monsignor Joe Bixenman, Celebrant. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors of Hereford. Prayer Vigil will be recited today, Dec. 28, 2011, at 6 p.m. in Rix Funeral Chapel. Andrea Lozano was born on May 27, 1921, in LeRoy, Texas, to Vicente and Concepcion (Lopez) Lozano. She married Juan O. Pesina on May 16, 1942, in Waco, Texas. They moved to Hereford, Texas, in 1961 from Waco, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Pesina was a member of La Iglesia de San Jose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan O. Pesina; her daughter, Maria Elena Griego; her parents; two sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by five sons, John L. Pesina Jr. and wife Frances of Lubbock, Robert Pesina and wife Beatriz of Lubbock, Joe Pesina and wife Iris of Plano, Felipe Pesina and wife Janie of Lubbock, and Raul Pesina and wife Sara of Hereford; two daughters, Andrea Lily Salinas and husband Ed of San Antonio, and Rosa Vallejo and husband Francisco of Hereford; one brother, Jesus Lozano of Waco; four sisters, Mary Almanza of Waco, Anna Fay Elizondo of Ft. Worth, Pauline Gonzalez of Waco and Josie Monreal of Waco; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
