Our first neighbors about 21 years ago we moved next to Charles and Jean. We have moved several times in the years since and have not found such a great neighbor. We have shared many stories with the children who has since forgotten our home in Lubbock as they have grown, from the spinach crop in the back to the great green grass, the holiday pecan pie. Truly great people and a great loss for the family.

Charles(gopher) Billings was a lifetime friend of mine. We graduated at Whitharral H.S, in 1948 and ws in the army when the Korean war started, he was a real Korean war Hero. I wish i could have spent more time with him in the latter years. Good luck Jean Billings and the rest of the family.
