Chester Payne was always a friend dating back to High School days. He always had kind and encouraging words to say and his friendship was valuable. I am thankful to have known him for so long and to have called him friend.

So sorry to hear about Chester. We met when we were in high school when I would visit my Grandmother. Laura Elliston in Seagraves. He was a sweet person. My thoughts are with his family.

If we all could be like Chester, there would be no hate, no racism, no violence, no hypocrisy but only love for all, love for children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. A wonderful father, a man's man and a truly God made human being who expected the best and nothing less. His drive and love for life made his children the very best. I will miss you Chester and so will so many more!

Chester was our oldest cousin. Most respected due to his knowing so much family history
He was kind, respectful, helpful, giving, loving and fun to be with. He could tell the best stories. Lots of great memories he would be willing to share. You will be sooo missed.

Chester, you have no idea how much you are missed right now. All the stories I have heard over the last few days shows how much you meant to a lot of people. In almost 24 years you have taught me how to have character and be a man and I gained a lot of respect for you. You are your grandkids biggest fan. You never missed an event they had going on. I have and will always cherished all the day trips and over night trips I got to go on with you and will miss the long conversations you and I would have during the travels. Chloe, Tyler, Tanner, Mason and Caroline will continue to grow and I pray they have received the character and godly heart that you have. Rest easy now Chester. Chad and I will take care of you precious girls and grandkids from here on out. Thanks for everything you did for us while we were blessed with your presence on earth.
