David Ladd Obituary

David Ladd LUBBOCK-David Carl Ladd of Lubbock passed away from his life on Dec. 29, 2015. He was born on Feb. 17, 1963, to Clifton Ray and Nelwyn Rose Ladd. He graduated from Idalou High School; he earned a degree in History from Texas Tech University and a Masters of Education from Wayland. He was a teacher at Bean Elementary and loved all the kids and co-workers. David will be missed by family and friends, but we rejoice that he is in heaven. He is survived by two daughters, Maegan Baker and Lauren Wallace; mother, Nelwyn Ladd; two grandchildren, Janell and James Smith, Irene Ladd, Kathleen Davis, Cliff and Lanita Ladd, and Laura and Robert Anciso; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Ray; his brother, Rusty Ladd; and his daughter, Amanda Ladd. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to the C.F. Foundation or to Make-A-Wish as both organizations were dear to his heart. Please celebrate the life of David by visiting www.combestfamilyfuneralhomes.com.

I was so very sorry to hear of David's passing. I worked with him at Frenship Middle School and always enjoyed being around him. My prayers to his family.
