Don Hall Obituary

Don E. Hall LUBBOCK-Graveside services for Don E. Hall, 77, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, in the Benjamin Cemetery under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home. The Rev. C.W. Faulkner, pastor of the Wolfforth First Baptist Church, will officiate. The family will receive friends at the visitation today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home. Don passed away on Thursday evening following an illness. Don was born on March 19, 1935, in Knox City, Texas, to Hester Albert and Louise Cook Hall. Don married the former Linda Lampp on Oct. 20, 1972, in Lubbock. She preceded him in death on July 9, 2004. He had lived in Lubbock since 1965 and was a meat cutter for Thriftway Grocery Store in Wolfforth for many years. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War era. Survivors include his son, Michael and Kristi Hall of Lubbock; daughter, Theresa Bollinger and Eric of Lubbock; brother, Glen Hall of Lubbock; sister, Jan Hunt of Vernon; and three grandchildren, Pazleigh, Hesten and Mack.
