Gary Pendley Obituary
Lubbock - A celebration of the life of Gary Pendley, 78, of Lubbock, Texas will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Sanders Funeral Home, out of respect to the family please wear masks.

Gary passed away April 27, 2021. Gary was born September 22, 1942 in Lubbock, TX to Carroll and Christine Pendley. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. Gary owned and operated Lubbock Body Works for several decades. He married Daphna Dancer on December 22, 1969. Gary was a lifelong fan of baseball and golf. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Loved ones include daughter Shawna Thomas; son Mark Pendley and his wife, Sarah; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother, Phil Pendley and wife, Linda; sister, Caralyn Snyder and husband, Hills; brother, Carl Pendley and wife, Sherry.
Memorials are suggested to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
