Gloria Valdez Obituary
Those left to mourn her passing include her mother, Gabriela Valdez; four brothers, Juan, Lucio, Ben, and Alejandro Valdez; four sisters, Elida Ramirez, Josie Belgara, Rose Mary Valdez, and Estella Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews all of Lubbock.
She is preceded in death by her "daddy", Jose Valdez; three brothers, Alfredo, Joe Jr., and Tony Valdez.
Visitations will begin Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.; Monday, May 20, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a time of remembrance at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.

I will like to send out my condolences to the Valdez family i am really sorry for y'all lost when i was out there 7 months ago i met Gloria and we hit it right off from the beginning she took me on as her little sister i was new to Texas and she showed me how to get around to different stores i am Big George sister Lisa i live in Delaware my heart was broken when George called me and told me what had happened to our friend we would talk every time she was over to my brother's place in fact the last time we talked was on her 52nd birthday i told her happy birthday and i love her and i will be seeing her soon and she said ok and that she couldn't wait to see me again and we said ok we will talk later and i said enjoy your night she was such a wonderful and sweet person i am so glad i got the chance to met her so i owe that to my brother Big George just know family everyone is in my prayers.
