Henry Anderson Obituary

Henry Joe Joby Anderson Jr. LUBBOCK-Henry Joe Joby Anderson Jr., 22, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on Dec. 3, 2015. Joby was born on March 12, 1993, to the parentage of Octavia and Henry Joe Anderson Sr. Joby was raised in the country, with strong family values, and he loved to ride horses. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and had an amazing passion for sports, especially baseball, football and track. He broke many records and was loved and respected by the faculty and staff as a remarkable student athlete. Joby was a loving son, brother, father and friend to many people. Many will truly miss him. He was preceded in death by: Frank Anderson Sr.; Frank Anderson Jr. and Alfred Caviel. He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Octavia and Henry Joe Anderson Sr.; two children, Brooklyn Nay Anderson and Henry Joby Anderson III: sisters, Jaussa and Charice Anderson; brother, Frank Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.

Our hearts go out to the family. We are so very sorry for their loss. Joby was always so nice and funny! He always had a big smile and gave encourging words. This trajedy is so heartbreaking and we are keeping the family our prayers. We rode horses together and I have known Joby since he was little. While he was here he was a blessing!
