Inell Moore Obituary

Lubbock - Inell Marie Moore, 66 of Lubbock, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017. Inell was born on April 16, 1951 to the parentage of Albert Melton, Sr. and Lovie Mae Ward. Inell enjoyed being with her family. She worked as a nurse for 37 years at Highland hospital and later to be renamed Grace Medical Center til 2014 when she retired. She will be truly missed.

Inell is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Melton, and Lovie Mae Ward; husband William Moore, and seven brothers, Jones Hardeman, George Howard, Samuel Howard, Charles McDowell, Collier Ward, Simon Ward, and Carroll Ward.

Inell leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Tyrone Moore (Leanna), Omar Moore (Deena), and Malcolm Moore (Ashley); five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; five sisters, Doris Dalton, Edna Mae Douglass, Mary White (Jimmie), Katherine Melton, and Carla Melton; two brothers, Lawrence "BB Milton (Wanda) and Douglas Melton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Greater Works. Internment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
