Jeffrey Dean Kelley LUBBOCK-Jeffrey Dean Kelley, born Oct. 19, 1973, passed from this life May 25, 2016, in his home surrounded by family and friends. He had a bright soul that drew people to him. The weeks leading up to his death he was surrounded by his family and friends. Some of Jeff's fondest memories from his youth involved performing and singing in a local band, Devastation, with some of his best friends. Jeff was well loved by his friends and had the unique knack of keeping people. One of Jeff's favorite things to do in life was visit with those he loved and love on his puppies, Dexter and Layla. Jeff married Catherine Culwell in 1997. They had two beautiful boys that have been Jeff's greatest loves that kept him and Catherine close and good friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Susie Hardin; as well as his grandparents. Jeff is survived by his children, the greatest joys of his life, Brecken and Dylan Kelley; his sister and bestfriend, Crystal Kelley (Weems); and his dad and hero, Charles Hardin; as well as his nephew, Austen Kelley and niece, Kirstie McCarty. Jeff is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4th, at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church, 98th and Indiana.
