MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY GOES OUT THE AGUAYO FAMILY I HAD THE HONOR AND PRIVILEGE OF MEETING JOE AT A TUXEDEO RENTAL PLACE IN LUBBOCK. I ALWAYS BUY THE LUBBOCK NEWSPAPER AND HAD READ BACK IN THE DAYS OF HIS LUBBOCK HIGH FOOTBALL DAYS ABOUT JOE AGUAYO. I FINALLY BOUGHT AN ISSUE THAT HAD HIS PICTURE AND INFORMATION ABOUT JOE AGUAYO ON A PLAY HE WAS INVOLVED IN. I TOLD MYSELF MAYBE I WILL MEET HIM ONE DAY AND LORD BEHOLD I DID. I WAS GETTING FITTED FOR A WEDDING OF A CLOSE FRIEND I WAS THERE WAITING FOR MY TURN WHEN I HEARD PARTY OF AGUAYO I WAS SURPRISED AND SAW JOE THERE I GOT UP AND INTRODUCED MY MYSELF JOSE G. AGUAYO EVEN SHOWED HIM MY DRIVERS LICENSE. THE FED EX DELIVER MAN SHOWED UP HERE AT OUR STORE ON WEDENSDAY AND I SIGNED THE PAD AND HE NOTICED MY NAME AND ASKED ME IF I WAS RELATED TO JOE I SAID NO BUT I KNEW OF HIM. THATS WHEN HE SHARED THE NEWS OF JOE PASSING AWAY IT CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD AND IT REALLY HURT AND I FEEL FOR HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTERS AND HIS FAMILY. JUST READING THE OBITUARY WE HAD SOME THINGS IN COMMON MY MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME WAS FLORES I HAVE 4 DAUGHTERS AND TWIN BOYS. I LOVE THOSE BOSTON RED SOXES BUT I'M A TEXAS TECH FAN BUT MY TWIN BOYS WERE BORN IN LUBBOCK AND THEY ARE FULL PLEDGED TEXAS LONGHORN FANS. JOE MY BROTHER IN CHRIST MAY YOU REST IN PEACE I WLL DEDICATE MY ROSARY TONIGHT FOR YOU MAY OUR LORD GIVE INTERNAL REST IN HEAVEN UNTIL WE SEE EACH OTHER IN HEAVEN.

What an incredibly kind and giving man. Our family has known Joe since his high school years. Never saw him without a smile or a positive attitude. Even in his youth he cared for 'the little people'. About 28 years ago, gave our son his (Joe's) lucky baseball bat along with alot of coaching tips. Many hearts are sad and our prayers go out to his beloved family and friends.

i will profoundly miss Joe. He was such and amazing person. I always enjoyed working with him. He always made everyone feel like family and he always had a smile. To say I'm sad for our loss is an understatement as I'm sure his primary family is. He was one of my favorite people. God speed Joe and you will be missed by all the people and lives that you touched.

To the Aguayo family. I worked in the same sales team as Joe did. I remember Joe as a reserved, very respectful man. Since I live in San Antonio our interaction was primarily via emails and at sales meetings. I know he was proud of his family. However, the limited time I knew him, he is definitely going to be remembered by all his peers. I offered you my prayers and having travelled that journey of grief myself, I can tell you that Faith will give you the strength. God is with you and Joe will live in your hearts as well. With my deepest and sincere sympathy. Yuri Nava
