Kendell Heinrich

1960 - 2017

Lubbock- Kendell Swinford Heinrich died peacefully in her home Tuesday October 31, 2017 at the age of 57. She was born August 19th, 1960 to Jerry and Sylvia Swinford of Lubbock, Texas. Kendell graduated from Frenship High School in 1978, completed her LVN at South Plains College in 1981 and received her BSN RN from Texas Tech University in 1996. Kendell married Wesley Heinrich on August 11, 1999, and continued to reside in Lubbock until her death.

A true care giver, Kendell worked as a home health representative and nurse, a pharmaceutical representative, then completed her medical career as a Hospice specialized nurse. Kendell knew every patient, physician, nurse, aide, and general staff's name no matter where she went. Knowing Kendell meant you were treated like family from the first smile hello and you loved being in her presence.

Kendell is survived by her favorite animals Boo, Kate, and Nala, Husband - Wesley Heinrich, Son - Derek White and Jamie Allen of Lubbock, lifelong friend (AKA sister) - Sheri Sisson White of Lubbock, two Step-daughters - Meghan and Courtney Heinrich of Lubbock, Mother - Sylvia Swinford of Lubbock, two Brothers - Steven and Chai Swinford of Rockwall and Curtis and Nancy Swinford of Lubbock, Aunt - Jimmie Urban of Dumas, two cousins - Vicki Johnson of Lubbock and Taylor Johnson of Austin, several nieces and nephews - including Seth Swinford of Dallas, Paeden Swinford of Sioux Falls, Kaylee Swinford of Lubbock and Mason Swinford of Rockwall.

Kendell was preceded in death by her Father, Jerry Swinford.

The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to her special care giver, Ollie Smith. We also thank UMC Southwest Cancer Center and Kindred Home Health Hospice doctors and staff for all the kindness and support during Kendell's care.
