Mack was born February 9, 1941, in Portales, NM to parents to Olin and Mattie Boren. On December 12, 1964, he married Jean and was married for 54 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jean of Lubbock, son John Kevin and Penny of Colorado Springs, CO, Kenneth Wayne and Lou Anna of Hamilton, TX; grandchildren, Travis, and Micaela Boren; 3 sisters, Rena Scwartzkopff, Ann Brooke, and Rila Ladd.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Percy, Enoch and Earl; and 2 sisters, Dora and Louise.
