Raymond Brito Obituary

Raymond Brito Jr. LUBBOCK-Raymond Brito Jr. of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the age of 61. He was born Sept. 6, 1951, in San Angelo to Raymond and Amelia (Gaitan) Brito. Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. During the 1980s he worked as a dietary supervisor for Methodist Hospital. He had a passion for art and music and enjoyed playing the acoustic guitar and singing at family gatherings. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Raymond Brito of California; one brother, Noe Brito and wife Sylvia; two sisters, Eva Duran and JoAnn Brito Camarena, all of Lubbock; as well as several nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his mother and one nephew, Ronnie Brito. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Combest Family Memorial Chapel with a prayer service to begin at 6 p.m. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Wanted to extend my heart felt condolences in the passing of Ray. We love & are thinking of you all in these most difficult days. He was such a great guy! Will be greatly missed!
