I am so blessed that I was able to get to know and love Theresa. She was a definite light in my life. I don't know how to express how much I will miss her loving, open heart, and her listening ear. I don't have a lot of words today, because Theresa's the one who always helped me to put my thoughts into words.

The wolf, the girl in a gown, and the wolf in a gown.

How could we know that 6 months after 60 years
We would all stop laughing and just shed tears.
Superman was there, and you flew on his back
Birthday fun, we did not lack.

How could we know 5 months from wearing the gown,
None of us would ever wear that thing going to town
But you did, and you smiled the whole time through
You scared the kids, then cackled loud after yelling Boo

How could we know 3 months ago, you visited family for the holiday
You worried of your kitty and how you'd get home and on what day
It was a great visit in Fort Worth
then you found out Justin got a pup, In December was the birth.

How could we know only 1 month left
when Missy the Princess took her last breath
You were so sad and lonely and never above it
You loved being with us and just wanted to be a part of it.

How could we know there was only one week
When you and Walker,- neither one meek
Shared the ice cream cone with laughs and a bark
Your spirit touched me, you had left your mark.

How could we know that yesterday's text
Would be the end, there isn't a next....
You will always be in my heart and mind
Theresa my friend, you were one of a kind.

Theresa had a heart that was out of this world. She had her ways but she had one of the most forgiving and caring hearts I've known. I would love to have one more day with her, I never told her the things I wanted too, just as we always have 'one more thing to say'... Theresa loved the Smyer Band and never missed a beat if she could help it. She is our Honorary Band Booster. My family truly cared for her, she was like our own family. The ones that wanted to come pay their respects will be listed as they could not travel this quick or take off of work or school, along with the ones that are able to make it. Love to Theresa from all of us! God bless the Theresa Seymour Family.
Always, Anissa and Doug Thomas, Brandon and Tiffany, Micheal and Heather, Justin and Mykayla, Tessa - Theresa's little Tessarella, Samantha, Linda and Dean Duckett, Beckie, the Smyer Band and Band Boosters

I am so sad to hear of Theresa's passing. She and I spent many hours cruising Shallowater in the day. :) Theresa taught me to drive a standard. She was a special and kind person. My prayers and thoughts are with your family.
