So sorry to have bumped into this while simply browsing the web for old friends. I spent a couple of summers with Al (1969, 1970) when I came to visit my Uncle Sy Frome who was friends with Ralph. We had some really great times together those two summers. Rest in peace, and warmest regards to Ralph.

Well brother, it's been a year and it doesn't get a whole lot easier. I miss you and think of you every day. Still got some of those crazy voice mails that you'd leave me and I listen to them often. You were one hell of a partner and those were great years that I will hold and cherish in my memories forever. Until we meet again Al. God bless.

Al was a good friend of mine for many years, although we haven't been in touch for a long time. His passing flooded mind with so many great memories... hanging out at his Diplomat apartment, his red Torino, many ski trips, wearing disco clothes (totally embarassing) and Al doing the robot (really funny). My heart felt condolences to Ralph and his family.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I dated Al way back in the 70's.
I rememberr that he had a fire engine red car and we met dancin at the Trubador.

I saw an article several years back in the LV paper acknowledging his dog rescue service as a fireman. I also remember that he was an avid skier and that he told me of he and his father helicopter advenures.

I will remember him with fond memories,

With Deepest Sympathies,
