Six months, mom. I still have a hole in my heart. I have just heard from a friend who has just passed 20 years since she lost her mom and she still longs to see her. I am not sure what a normal relationship for a son and his mother but I felt like we shared a friendship. You were one of my favorite friends. I just wanted to say that I love you. Say hi to dad for me. I miss you both terribly.

Hi Mom, it has been a month and a half since we lost you. I know I told you that it was ok to go to heaven but I just wanted to tell you that I miss you. I miss our talks. I miss your smile. You were my rock. I never wanted to disappoint you. I hope you are proud of the man I have become. I love you and I hope you are there to greet me. I miss you, mom.

My Dear Uncle Louie and all the Cortez family, my Aunt Bernice was a beautiful and a proud wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many people. I will miss her visits to Colorado and her wonderful laughter. I love you Aunt Bernice and give the rest of the family hugs and kisses from all of us here. Heaven has a beautiful Angel. Ron, Louella, Jamie and all the Cortez kids,
I am very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It has been a while but I have great memories of being at your parent's house back in the early 80's.

Though I did not know her, her beautiful smile in the photograph tells me everything I need to know. I hope her family and friends will remain strong and be blessed with fond memories.

To my uncle and cousins. My prayers are with you and may God give you strength for these difficult days. Although we didn't see each other much, when I did, my aunt always had a smile and a compliment. That is one of my memories of your dear mother. My mother is hurting deeply for her sister, wishing she could be there with you. God Bless and Comfort all of you. Love,

I'm sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was always so pleasant and good natured (but I guess she had to be to put up with all of us knuckleheads invading her house). My prayers are with you all.
