Hi Charlie,I miss you so much. It's been six years now and my acceptance has peaked out. This is the furthest you will ever get from me. I have accepted that you are physically gone, but your spirit will always be a part of me.I think of you almost everyday. Hi Charlie. I haven't said anything on this sight in a long time, but you know as well as i do, i talk to You, Mom & Dad every day. How can i not. I think and miss you all so much. I noticed that Paul our cousin is on this sight missing you alot. Charlie, i miss you so much. I talk to you all the time, i just could use a hug. I had to take all the pictures of You, Mom & Dad off my dresser about a month ago. Remember when you use to come to Mom & Dads house to visit and when you went into the living room and Mom had all of Her deceased brothers, sisters & friends pictures all over in there. You said it wasn't a living room, it was a dead room. You called it a shrine. Well my Brother, i was doing the same thing in mine & Judy's room. I had to put them away,but, i do have pictures up of when you were in pictures with the family. I finally took the funeral stuff down. I Love You Charlie! Later ok! Love you Bill

My Brother, time has passed since you left us. Still we find ourselves missing you and wishing we had at least one more day. Songs on the radio remind me of you and every once in while I will see someone that also reminds me of you.
Not sure if you can hear me but I do say hello and good night every evening.
We rode Harley's out to Valley of Fire and thought of you and how much you would have loved the ride.

I loved Charlie and am just devastated to hear of his passing at such a young age. I helped him coach the Orioles 1 year and spent many days and nights with the family. I also worked at Jimco Products for a short time and was very close with his family and cousin Clea and her kids. Jeri was an amazing person and they ALWAYS made me feel welcome in their home and lives. I havn't heard or seen any of them really since 1993 or so but think about them all the time. I met Charlie and his family when I started dating his niece and from the first day they were just awesome, this breaks my heart. I wish his family the very best and hope to see them again one day. Charlie had an awesome sense of humor and was such a generous person along with his wife Jeri. I even remember the Chevy SS pickup he had and the GTO in the garage. Jeri and family, we were truly saddened today when we heard Charlie had passed away. Charlie was a such a great guy. My heart aches for you and your family. When Rick and I read the obituary our minds were instantly flooded with fond memories of LJFL, the Orioles and all you both did to support football and cheerleading. Rick enjoyed every minute of being an assistant coach to Charlie. Thanks to you, Elizabeth got to start cheerleading a little younger than she should have. ;) Charlie and you gave so much to the program and welcomed everyone to your lives and home. It truly was never the same after you moved. Charlie touched so many lives of everyone in the LJFL. We both will never forget his bright smile, his happy go lucky way or the fond memories of the LJFL that was a huge part of our family's life thanks to you and Charlie. Jeri and Charlie have always been like family to me. They offered me a home when I needed one, a safe place for me and my kids, an ear to listen, and advise I didn't always listen to or heed. Dear Jeri, Aunt Tessie and Cousins Jane (Walt), Doreen, Bill, Tony (Linda), Margie, and Eric and all your children, we share your loss of our cousin Charlie. Among the fond memories growing up; Jeri and Charlie's open door atmosphere at their Livonia home where there was always a pot of coffee, love, and laughter; Charlie's best ever deep fried hamburgers; we were also blessed to have shared with Charlie these memories at the recent Bonnici-Azzopardi family reunion in Michigan. Although we selfishly prayed for God's miracle for Charlie to remain with us, he is now at peace with his Heavenly Father as well as his earthly father Uncle Charlie, and all of our parents who await our true reunion. Jeri, Steph, Jared, Jackie, Christine & Haven, your husband/dad/grandpa was one of the most loyal friends I have ever had. He made me laugh and smile all the time. He was one of the few people who remained my friend after leaving work. He was always there to help me when I was sick, bringing me a pack of smokes when I had pneumonia (lol, he did!) and stupid stuff like that. It was the little things, along with the big, that will stay in my heart forever. I lost my own dad last year. I understand your pain. I wish I had the words to make it feel better, but the best thing I can say is to try to remember the funny stuff, and Charlie was FULL of funny stuff. It will make the days go by easier. I used to always say that Charlie was like a dad to me, which he HATED!! "I'm not old enough to be your dad!!!" LOL LOL LOL It was a dance we danced all the time. I loved Charlie so much and I am so saddened to not have him here anymore. I will always keep him in my thoughts and prayers, as I will you guys as well.

Charlie AKA my Choo Choo Charlie. I will always cherish and remember singing the Charlie Choo Choo Good and Plenty song from back in the day to him every time he would call complaining or sound frustrated, I would say, Charlie says.....then he would laugh and reply, "Love my Good and Plenty." To the Bonnici family and loved ones I say thank you for allowing me and others to have the opportunity to know such a fun loving and great guy. Memories are the best thing to have and we can all say that we truly have many when it comes to Charlie. :) Love to you all.

Well, I really going to miss Charlie, since I became a citizen of the United States he kept telling me what to do and what not to do in order to become more americanized with his peculiar joke style. Your Dad was one hell of a nice guy! He was down to earth, he had a great laugh and a warm smile, he was genuine. He shared great stories about each of his kids, though I never met you, he was Damn Proud and you could tell he loved you all deeply. I have known and worked with the Bonnici brothers, Tony, Eric and Charlie over the years in Radio Media Sales. They are quality people and it was my pleasure to know Charlie when I worked for Lotus Broadcasting. Although I knew Charlie for only a short time, I found him to be very likable, friendly, available and always in the office way too early. I send you love and light, Charlie. You left too soon.
