Hi Charlie:
Its time to say good bye. You've been gone a whole year. Your family's still misses you and so do your friends. I know I do.
Thought I would show you the award given in your honor early this year. Its called the Charlie Desiderio Award in the form of a microphone - you so much admired, thanks to Leslee Rogers at Sal Army. The owner of Pin Ball Museum was the first one to receive it for his high achievement of donations to The Salvation Army.
So long for now buddy. I figure by now you have made lots of friends up there in the icloud that they call down here on earth, maybe even Steve Jobs himself. Imagine telling Jobs that you're still a Republican.

It has been 6 months that Charlie left us. He is missed and thought of every time we enter the palomino lane bldg where he worked with the salvation army. Many friends and coworkers miss him daily. Charlie was one great guy no one's going to forget. We listen to the Sunday morning radio show and sometimes feel like he's going to talk on the air. God bless you Charlie, where ever you are.

Charlie Baby, you didn't have to leave us so soon. I know you didn't want to go and we didn't want you to leave us. Charlie will always be remembered as a great guy, a strong republican, an honest and sincere man. I will miss hearing you on the early Sunday morning radio show. He gave 110% to Salvation Army. He was devoted to Marie and daughters and wanted to live for the summer wedding with Joey. You will always be in our memory, Charlie, God bless you and hire you to do marketing work upstairs. We have lost a great person. Rest in peace. Amen
p.s. you would have made a good Mayor.
