CLARICE GOLDBERG Clarice M. Goldberg, 62, universally loved and admired by all who knew her, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born Sept. 28, 1953, in Grants Pass, Ore., she moved to Las Vegas as a girl and her impact on southern Nevada was powerful and long-standing. An honors graduate of UNLV and Western High School, Clarice became one of the most trusted and well-respected certified public accountants in the valley. Her generosity touched many and she was a proud supporter and active donor to many philanthropic organizations including Planned Parenthood, Habitat for Humanity, Opportunity Village, Save the Children and many more. She was a lover of a great meal and a good martini, often enjoying Friday date night with her husband, Allan Goldberg, at their favorite restaurant, Ventano's. Her laugh was among the greatest of all time and her husband and son loved to hear it. She was the best audience they could have ever hoped for. Thanksgiving's at her house were legendary and included family, friends, clients, those who couldn't be with their own families and pets. A proud Starbucks Gold Card holder, they are sure to miss her rampant revenue stream. Clarice is survived by her beloved husband, of 40 years, Allan Goldberg; her doting son, Jason Aaron Goldberg; her mother, Betty Lue Guertler; and all those who will continue to hold her in their hearts and minds. Celebration of life will be 1-5 p.m. Saturday July 2, at Ventano's Italian Restaurant, 191 S. Arroyo Grande Blvd., Henderson, NV 89012. Come enjoy some of Clarice's favorite dishes and raise a cocktail in her honor.

Alan and Jason I just found out today about Clarice's passing. We had a lot of laughs when we shared office space. She will be truly missed by her friends and clients. Clarice was a very special person to all.

I just heard. What a great loss to us all. I am so sorry but I was out of town and got a note from her firm. I will miss her humor, laughs and her wonderful personality. She loved her family greatly and spoke kindly about them all. So sorry, but what a privilege to just have known her.

Thank you so much for holding such a wonderful "Celebration of Life" event yesterday.

Seeing Clarice's friends, business associates, and family all gather together to honor her life was truely inspirational. You could feel her presence in the room as we all enjoyed some of her favorite drinks and food.
