Doris Witthoeft Obituary

DORIS WITTHOEFT Loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and aunt, Doris J. Witthoeft, 71, a retired claims adjuster, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 8, 2009. She was born Jan. 13, 1938, in Sewickley, Pa., and was a 10-year resident of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 44 years, Charles Witthoeft; father, Fredrick Lentz; and brother, James Lentz. Doris is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Witthoeft and Susan Witthoeft; and grandson, Miles Frankel, all of California; mother, Claire Lentz of New York; sisters, Dolores Mouck, Nancy Mead and Barbara Mcelhaney; and brothers, Rick Lentz and David Lentz. Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Odyssey VistaCare Hospice Foundation. "Doris was deeply loved and will be greatly missed."

My name is Paul Matteucci. I worked with Doris in San Francisco Polk St office for about 7 years. Doris was a sweet caring person. I was very sad to here of her passing. The world will be a little less bright without her. My condolences go out to here family. God bless.

I worked with Doris in San Francisco at one of the AAA claims offices. She was always very nice to everyone had a great sense of humor, and took all of the daily stresses of our office in stride.
We will all miss her.
