ELDINE HAYDEN Mary Eldine Wilson Hayden passed away peacefully in her sleep, September 27, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. Eldine was born July 19, 1931, in Payette, Idaho, to Ira and Juanita Wilson. She married the love of her life, Don E. Hayden June 3, 1953, just two short months after meeting him. They had two children, Patrick R. and Dawn E., and later adopted their son, Yohannes. Eldine was a big personality in a tiny body. She was kind, loving, generous and a feisty spitfire. She had a passion for antiquing, scouring garage sales and collecting pink depression glass. But, her greatest treasure was her family, whom she loved unconditionally. Eldine made many friends in her lifetime and treated them as if they were her own family. Eldine and Don enjoyed travelling with their friends around the world. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick R. Hayden. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn E. Hayden; son, Yohannes Hagos (Mebrat); daughter-in-law, Vickie Hayden; grandchildren, Daniel (Kiana), Dustin (Miranda), Daryn (Krista), Brittney (Stephane), Shelby, Lucas and Lillian; and great-grandchildren, Haylee, Jackson, Eli, Lily, Wyatt, Hayden, Ella, Brielle and Tucker. Celebration of her life will be 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Elks Lodge, 4100 W. Charleston Blvd. As pink was her signature color, the family would love for the guests to include pink in their outfit. Eldine celebrated life, one pink glass at a time.
