ELIZABETH PALADINO Elizabeth Alexandra Paladino, 38, beloved mother of Amber Penick and Caroline Leone, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Born August 29, 1978, in Alexandria, Va., Liz spent her childhood in San Diego, until she moved to Las Vegas in 1992. She attended Bonanza and Durango High Schools. Liz started a family at 20 years of age, making motherhood and family the primary focus of her life. Liz was a generous and loving mother to her two daughters. She was also a caring and open sister to four siblings, Elysia, Elana, Bernadette and Michael. She is survived by her mother, Mary Beth Paladino, and preceded in death by her father, Dr. Bernard Paladino. She was an adoring daughter to Dr. Paladino, and surprisingly passed away on his birthday. She provided the glue that kept the family close after Bernard's tragic death in 2007, and she will be desperately missed by all of her family including her grandfather, Leo Plunkett, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89117. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted for Amber and Caroline's education.
