Eugene Langley Obituary

Eugene W Langley III passed on to the next phase of existence on Friday morning, January 26th, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Bobbette Langley, and son Jason Langley. Gene was a kind and generous man, with a gregarious nature that was always willing to help however he could. He was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back. During his lifetime he accomplished so much, including being a real-life rocket scientist who worked for Hercules for many years on projects such Pershing or Hellfire, helping to build Disneyworld and having 7 patents from his time working at Dupont. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. In a last testament to his character, he asked that his passing not be mourned but rather celebrated. Wherever you are, raise a glass to toast the passing of a great man!

So sorry to hear this. I did not know. We all grew up in Malaga together and I remember spending time playing in the woods across from Gene's house, then going over to grandmother's place for coolaid.

I didn't really get to know Gene as much as Pam and Tommy did as I was the youngest Langley in our family.

Out thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Bobbette, I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I found out today at church. I had no idea. I will let the cousins in Jersey know of his passing. I wish you and Jason only peace and blessings. I am Gene's first cousin. His dad and My dad (Uncle Carl) were brothers. Take care. You both will be in our prayer

My deepest condolences to your family during this most difficult time of coping with the loss of your beloved husband and father. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. - Psalms 116:15.
