Gene Gassner Obituary

GENE GASSNER Gene Gassner, 65, of Henderson, passed away April 10, 2007. He was born in St. Louis, and has resided in Henderson for four years. He retired from the aerospace industry as an engineering manager and he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Carol, of 41 years; his son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Tonya; his granddaughters, Sarah and Stephanie of Bruce, Wis.; and his sister, Grace Shute of Carthage, Mo. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday, April 16, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, at New Song Church, 1291 Cornet St. in Anthem, with graveside services to follow at 1:20 p.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City. Donations in Gene's name can be made to ALS of Nevada.
