Greg Bunker Obituary

GREG BUNKER Greg Gerald Bunker, 51, born Dec. 14, 1956, a life long native of Las Vegas, peaceably passed away at his home, on Memorial Day, May 26, 2008 and joined previously deceased family members, his beloved grandparents, Cecile and Jerry Crowe, Ethel and Martin Bunker Jr.; sister and brother, Cynthia and Allen Bunker. He is survived by his son, Brent; parents, Sheila Crowe and Martin Allen Bunker III; sister, Suzanne (Barry) Noorda of Logan, Utah; and nieces, Allie and Amanda Noorda, who he prized above all else; also, many aunts and uncles, cousins and loyal friends. Greg graduated from Western High School in 1974 and started working in the construction trades and spent many years in the family business, Standard Wholesale Supply Co. where he became known as the customers best friend, with always on time service. A natural athlete in all sports, Greg accomplished several hole in one's on the golf course and was a life long New York Yankee fan. Greg was, also, a gifted builder of custom motorcycles and many of his best friends were earned through his love of Harleys and the time spent in garages and on the road. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; an Eagle Scout, Greg was a positive example of love and loyalty to his family and friends, with an eye open for those that might be on the down and out. All arrangements and services will be handled by and at Bunker Mortuaries, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, 89101. Viewing will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 30, and 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday, May 31, followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment immediately following at Bunker Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
