IDA BARNETT Obituary

IDA BARNETT Ida Marette Barnett, a native resident of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 11, 2015, in the home of her loving daughter, Shirley Houston. Ida was born July 24, 1930. She married R. S. "Barney" Barnett, and they had five children, Buck, Shirley, Beverly, Cindy and Debbie. Ida was preceded in death by her husband; and daughter, Cindy. She is survived by her son, Buck Barnett of Maui; daughter, Shirley of Reno; daughter, Beverly of Truckee; and daughter, Debbie of Dumas Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Irene Brown of Las Vegas; and many grandchildren great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Ida will be remembered for her legacy of love for family and for her unique brand of counsel she provided to all who knew her. Services are private.
