JACQUELINE SYLVESTER Obituary

JACKIE SYLVESTER Jackie C. Sylvester, 85, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013. She was born Dec. 31, 1927, in Pioche. Jackie had retired from the Clark County School District after many years of service. Her love of music was well-known and her family is sure she is singing in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sylvester; and son, Roland J. Sylvester. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Hansford, Karen Foy and Jan Schaeffer; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Kay Dwyer. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, both at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Burial will be private at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
